The 34 cm tall Carline thistle Teddy bear with jointed arms, leg and head is lovingly crafted by hand from the finest caramel-coloured mohair. He is wearing a linen collar edged with cream lace and held in place by a cord and a small metal brooch. The soles of both his feet are embroidered with a picture of a carline thistle and the German name of the plant ("Silberdistel").
